IMMUMEDIC · Transparency & Responsibility

Trust starts with understandable information.

People considering dendritic cell therapy are often facing a difficult medical situation. We therefore want to explain openly who we are, how we work, who carries which responsibility and where the limits of our services lie.

Who is behind IMMUMEDIC

For many years, IMMUMEDIC Limited has supported and coordinated processes relating to dendritic cell therapy, immunological diagnostics and collaboration with medical practitioners and specialised partners.

“For us, transparency also means saying openly what we can do – and what we cannot do. Dendritic cell therapy is not a promise of cure. Every case must be considered individually from a medical perspective.”

More about editorial responsibility

What IMMUMEDIC does – and what it does not do

We deliberately separate the different roles. This creates clarity for patients, relatives and practitioners.

IMMUMEDIC provides

Information, organisation and coordination

  • Provision and structuring of information
  • Coordination with suitable practitioners and partners
  • Organisation of diagnostic processes
  • Coordination of blood collection, manufacturing, transport and appointments
  • Provision of case-related documents
Important

IMMUMEDIC is not a medical practice

Diagnosis, indication and medical treatment decisions lie with the medically responsible practitioner within the scope of their legal and professional authority.

Information on this website does not replace a medical diagnosis or an individual treatment decision.

Manufacturing in Germany

The patient’s own dendritic cells are manufactured through a specialised manufacturing partner in Germany. IMMUMEDIC has worked with this partner on a long-term basis and, during personal meetings, regularly reviews the available authorisation, quality and audit documentation presented by the partner.

Why is the manufacturing laboratory not publicly named?

The name, contact details and internal authorisation, certification and audit documents of the manufacturing partner are not published on publicly accessible websites because of existing confidentiality agreements.

This also protects agreed communication and manufacturing channels. The manufacturing partner is not intended to operate as a direct patient counselling or sales channel.

We deliberately refrain from making more detailed public statements about specific certificates, authorities or their scope where the relevant documents have not been approved for publication.

Clear responsibilities

Treatment involves different areas of responsibility. We want to make it visible who is responsible for what.

IMMUMEDIC

Information · Organisation · Coordination

IMMUMEDIC coordinates organisational processes between patients, practitioners, diagnostics, the manufacturing partner and transport.

Manufacturing partner

Manufacturing · Quality · Release

The manufacturing partner is responsible for manufacturing, quality and release processes within its area of responsibility.

Practitioner

Medical responsibility

The responsible practitioner decides on medical measures and is responsible for treatment within the scope of their legal and professional authority.

How the organisational pathway works

The exact process may vary depending on the medical situation. In principle, organisation follows these steps:

1

Enquiry

Available reports and information are provided for further assessment.

2

Treatment orientation

Findings are structured and next steps are coordinated with the medically responsible professionals.

3

Diagnostics

Depending on the situation, immune status, CTC/tumour dynamics and other laboratory parameters may play a supplementary role.

4

Practitioner

Blood collections and medical applications are performed by suitable practitioners.

5

Blood collection

The required starting material is collected according to the defined requirements.

6

Manufacturing

The patient’s own dendritic cells are manufactured by the specialised partner in Germany.

7

Transport

Coordinated transport between practitioner, manufacturing partner and place of application.

8

Application & follow-up

Application by the responsible practitioner and, where planned, accompanying follow-up diagnostics.

Science instead of promises of cure

Dendritic cells are the subject of immunological and oncological research. Tumour types, treatment situations, manufacturing methods and the scientific evidence can differ considerably.

What studies can show

Studies can provide information on safety, immunological effects or clinical outcomes within a defined study population.

What studies cannot guarantee

A study result cannot automatically be transferred to an individual patient. Individual treatment success cannot be guaranteed.

Openness about costs and processes

Before making a decision, patients should know which services are planned, which costs may arise and when payments become due.

10 questions you should ask us

An informed decision starts with good questions. You should be able to clarify these points before treatment.

Who is my medical contact person?
Who decides whether treatment is medically appropriate?
Where are the dendritic cells manufactured?
Which diagnostics are needed beforehand – and why?
How do blood collection, manufacturing and transport work?
What scientific evidence exists for my tumour type?
What limitations and risks exist?
Which other treatments need to be taken into account?
What total costs may arise?
What happens if manufacturing or application cannot proceed as planned?

You may ask us these questions.

And you should receive understandable answers. Where a question can only be answered medically, it belongs with the responsible practitioner.

Digital information is useful. For personal questions, however, it should always be clear how you can reach IMMUMEDIC.

Our commitment

IMMUMEDIC does not aim to persuade patients to undergo a treatment. Our goal is to present information, processes, possibilities and limitations transparently enough to support an informed decision together with the medically responsible professionals.
